Playbook was started by an AFCEC team, or an existing playbook has been rewritten with major updates by an AFCEC team

Playbook that has never been developed before with no existing content

Archived Playbooks
Playbooks that no longer meet currency or ownership standards are archived to protect the integrity of the platform. Archival ensures every user accesses only validated, up-to-date guidance.
Not Reviewed Within Four Years
Playbooks that have not been reviewed or updated within four years are archived until a formal review and update process is completed.
Content Under Revision
A process or policy change may require content to be temporarily removed from the platform while updates are underway.
No Active Ownership
Organizational changes that result in no assigned Action Officer, functional champion, or directorate maintaining ownership of a playbook may trigger archival.
For Historical Reference Only
Archived playbooks are retained for reference purposes only and should not be used as official CE guidance for current operations, procedures, or decision making.
Excluded from Golden Retriever AI
Archived playbooks are excluded from Golden Retriever AI search results to ensure users always access the most current and validated information available.
Restoration Path
Archived playbooks may be restored to active status once a formal review and update is completed and the playbook meets the platform's current standards.
