Air Force Civil Engineer Playbooks provides interactive, web-based tools intended to help standardize and improve civil engineering processes. This policy explains what information we collect through ceplaybooks.com, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. We may collect your name and email address, and any information you voluntarily submit through forms, playbooks, or contributions on the Site.

Log data. Like most websites, we automatically collect information your browser sends when you visit, including IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, referring pages, and timestamps.

Cookies. We use cookies to support Site functionality and understand usage patterns. You can decline cookies through your browser settings, though some Site features may not work correctly without them.

2. Do Not Submit Sensitive Information

The Site is not designed to collect or store Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified information, protected health information subject to HIPAA, or information subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Please do not submit such information through the Site. If you are unsure whether information is appropriate to submit, consult your organization’s information security or OPSEC guidance before doing so.

3. Privacy Act Considerations

If any information collected through this Site is maintained by or on behalf of a federal agency in a system of records retrievable by personal identifier, that collection and use would be governed by the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a), including any applicable published SORN, and by DoD Privacy Program requirements. Where the Privacy Act applies:

• Information is collected consistent with a stated routine use and the purpose disclosed at the point of collection.
• You have the right to request access to and correction of records maintained about you, subject to statutory exemptions.
• Providing information is generally voluntary, though declining to provide certain information may limit your ability to use some Site features.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate, maintain, and improve the Site, to contact you about your account or submissions, and to understand how the Site is used. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Service Providers

8. Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by applicable federal records retention schedules established under NARA General Records Schedules, whichever applies.
